Now this is a women who has truely inspired me and iam sure many others too. She is none other than madurai shanmukhavadivu subbulakshmi. She is a renowned carnatic vocalist.
I dont believe in god, but if there is someone called god then it will be looking like M.S.Subbulakshmi.
I cant rate her as a vocalist,since i dont understand music. All i can do is listen to her voice and i jsut can feel my inner soul when iam doing so. As a passionate sketcher i can pay her tribute by sketching a portrait of her. I did so and had even gifted it to one of my vocalist friend, who is a die hard fan of M.S amma.
About the sketch the most challenging part was the veena part wherein i had to bring bout the texture of the veena at the same time had to concentrate on the shadow falling on it.
The most loved part of the sketch is the mokuthi on both sides of the subject's nose.
i dont know how iam inspired by women alone, are men so dumm. to find out the answer please follow my blog
